LifeVest, a wearable defibrillator, is intended for patients with increased risk for cardiac arrest and provides protection as long as the period of risk persists or until an alternative therapy is prescribed. The LifeVest device continuously monitors the patient's heart rhythm and if a life-threatening heart rhythm is detected, a treatment shock is automatically delivered to the patient in order to restore normal heart rhythm. The LifeVest system is easy to wear and use, and the patients can safely return to their normal daily activities. The LifeVest device communicates with the patient via both audio and voice messages in local language.

CIRCA SCIENTIFIC manufactures a comprehensive system to measure temperatures in the esophagus. The CIRCA Temperature Monitoring System™ with the radiopaque S-CATH, includes 12 temperature sensors that continuously and simultaneously senses and displays the minimum and maximum temperature sensed on the probe. Temperatures are displayed in numerical and graphical formats, and the clinician can set four user selectable audible/visual warnings and alarms.
